Joy Porter, ASP

Joy Porter began her company, Staging Makes $ense, LLC, with the mission to enhance and stage real estate to maximize the Seller's profit. The company opened for business Sept. 1, 2007 and is located at 844 E. 140 N., Lindon, UT 84042. The company will service Utah, Salt Lake, Summit and Davis counties.

Joy Porter received a Business Management degree from The University of Phoenix in 1995. She then moved from the Phoenix area to Utah in 2000 to attend Brigham Young University, where she received a Masters in Business in 2002.

Porter then went on to get a Utah Real Estate License and then an Arizona Real Estate License. She joined the brokerage of Keller Williams Real Estate in 2003.

Porter is an entrepreneur with several businesses to her credit. She worked as a public relations consultant from 1988-1992. She then started a management consulting company from 1992-2005 which helped members of construction teams set goals and mediate through conflicts. As an accomplished public speaker, she has addressed hundreds of audiences on the subject of win-win negotiation and team synergy.

From 2003-2007 Porter worked with real estate investors acquiring property in states like Arizona, Florida and Utah. She is an avid real estate investor and has staged her own properties since 2001.

In 2007, Porter received her ASP designation from the International Accredited Staging Professionals Organization.
